This course is designed for citizen-rescuers at work and at home, and specifically for children. The content includes CPR and AED information for all ages and covers CPR, AED and First Aid.
CPR/AED and first aid guidelines from EMS Safety follow recommendations from the 2015 ILCOR International Consensus on CPR and ECC Science with Treatment Recommendations and the ILCOR First Aid Science Task Force.

- Injuries (Bleeding and Wounds, Traumatic Injuries, Muscle, Bone and Joint Injuries, Heat-to-Toe Injuries, Burns, Electrical Injuries)
- Breathing Emergencies (Adult and Child Choking Care, Infant Choking Care, Difficulty Breathing, Asthma, Severe Allergic Reactions)
- Environment Emergencies (Poisoning, Opioid Associated Emergencies, Heat and Cold-Related Emergencies, Bites and Stings)
Course Delivery
Typically, this course runs for 8 hours depending on the number of students attending and their participation in the training.
Every student receives a certificate and card upon completion of the course, valid for 2 years and a CPR/First Aid Student Training Kit including a CPR shield, pads, gauze, bandage and gloves.
This is not generic training; all our students learn how to use the AED that their company or organization have purchased.
