With new legislation passed, Tennessee public high schools will soon be a heart safe place in part due to the efforts of Rhonda Harril. In 2009, Harril lost her 13-year-old son, Tanner Jameson when he went into cardiac arrest while playing basketball at school. Since then, Harril has pushed for legislation requiring AED placement in public high schools across Tennessee.
